Jacob Hernandez, the reigning outdoor and indoor 800 meter champion, will not be running the 2009 NCAAs this year in Fayetteville because of a tweaked hamstring. Jacob is still supporting the team at practice and will be going to the NCAA meet to cheer, but now he is turning his focus on the 2009 USATF Outdoor Championships in Eugene and making the USA Team that will compete at the 2009 IAAF World Track and Field Championships.
